ISRO — the Indian Space Research Organisation — is one of the world’s premier space agencies. Among the jewels in their crown are the Chandrayaan program (first Indian mission to the Moon) and the world record of launching 104 satellites using a Single Launch Vehicle.
The Ask –– Create a campaign for social media and offline mediums that will create awareness of the Chandrayaan 2 program and maintain a buzz around it for the duration of the mission’.
Pink Lemonade worked in collaboration with ISRO to identify key messages that were in line with the mission’s intent and the company’s communication tone. Once we zeroed in on the core messaging, we interfaced with the client on a regular basis to ideate on possible content ideas and execute the collateral, keeping in mind key details about the project.
As the mission was technically intensive, our team had to get a firm understanding of the scientific theories and concepts associated with the mission. This translated into a range of initiatives and collateral that targetted audiences such as students, artists, photographers, amateur scientists, and the general population as a whole.
